Misfire

Welp… the Story expired…

and you never did watch it.

But, you also just weren't around. Did I just have the worst timing in the world?

Probably. I've never been any good at timing.

Well, no sense dwelling on it since there's no telling if you even know it ever existed. But I'm still sad. Still got a bit misty-eyed. I was proud of myself. I wanted you to be proud of me. I wanted to make you think of me.

I just wanted you to think of me…

I kinda hoped you would realize that you are my muse… and not just for writing (of course, you don't even know that yet…). Hoped you'd realize that I had learned that song for you. Inspired by you. That every time I was trying to make my fingers do all those crazy things… that I was thinking of you.

…and I'll admit a tiny part of me was sort of secretly hoping you'd give me a heart, the way I do all of your Stories… Knowing it's safe, knowing that no one else can see it…
